Services

We provide detail design packages for all aspects within I/E, which includes two client reviews and an updated as built. The first review will be IFA or Issue For Approval. This gives the client an opportunity to review and make any necessary changes to the I/E design package. The second review will be the IFC or Issue For Construction. The updated As Built package will be the final plant copy used for future planning and maintenance. As the field contractor installs per the IFC package they may need to "red line" the drawings where field changes are made. After installation is complete, the field contractor transmits the "red lined" field copy to us so we can draft it all up and send a clean copy to the client.

Instrumentation

 

Our instrument package provides the following deliverables as necessary...

  • Scope of Work

  • Transmittal

  • Updated client Hazardous Area Classification Plan Drawing

    • We prefer to update an existing client Hazardous Area Classification Plan Drawing

    • If necessary, we can do a site visit along with requesting all the system documents to perform an extensive review of the system to complete a new Hazardous Area Classification Plan Drawing

  • Updated P&ID's with industry standard (ANSI/ISA-5.1-2009) or plant specific symbology

    • We can work as a team to simply "red​ line" existing P&ID's

    • We can request the existing native files and update them

    • We can create new P&ID's

  • Instrument Specification Sheets (also referred to as Data Sheets) for all instruments

    • We can use our company standard template

    • The client can send us their template files and we can then create the Spec Sheets with their standard.

  • Instrument Installation details w/bill of materials

    • We can request copies of the clients preferred installation details ensuring that the installation conforms to the plants existing installations which will make it easy for their employees to understand and maintain

    • We can use our company standard installation details

    • We can create new installation details​

  • Instrument Block Diagram

  • Instrument Location Plan including any Instrument Junction Box locations

  • Instrument Conduit and Cable Schedule

  • Instrument Conduit and Cable Routing Plan Drawing/s

    • Industry standard is to allow the field contractor ​design and route conduit and wire from the Junction boxes to the field devices. Our drawings notes and Scope of Work directs the field contractor to supply the client with conduit routing and conduit fill calculations

    • We can provide the field routing and calculations upon request. Site visits may be required for acquiring support information

  • Instrument Loop Diagrams

  • Instrument Junction Box Fabrication Detail w/bill of materials

  • Instrument Junction Box Wiring Diagrams

  • DCS/PLC Fabrication Detail w/bill of materials

  • DCS/PLC Wiring Diagram

  • Marshalling Cabinet Fabrication Detail w/bill of materials

  • Controls Systems Network Architecture Diagram

  • Camera Location Plans

If our client has the above mentioned drawings we can save them money by updating their existing file/s. If there are no such drawings we will provide new drawings to the client. Other types of client specific instrumentation package deliverables are available upon request.
